Hard Seltzer Reviews - Episode 5: BAY AREA SPECIAL! Ficks and Soma Seltzer

BAY AREA SPECIAL! Today I review two San Francisco hard seltzer companies: Ficks and SOMA Seltzer.  Both are extremely CLEAN from an alcohol standpoint and gave me NO hangover the next day.  Ficks is very natural and has real fruit juice in it.  They lack the extreme flavors I've reviewed in the past but they selected flavors they thought they could do well and achieved it.  SOMA Seltzer has delicious, almost candy-like flavors but left a "metallic" taste in my mouth that still bothered me the next day.  Just drink a few and I think you can avoid this.

Blackberry - 7.5

Lime - 6.5

Cranberry - 6.5

Grapefruit - 8.0

Alcohol Rating - 9.5

Overall Score 8.3/10

Watermelon - 7.5

Mango - 6.5

Guava Passion Fruit - 6.5

Black Cherry - 6.0
